The waste management and industrial services company Enviro-Clean has delivered four new Iveco S-Way 530 6×2 trucks. The new vehicles are part of a wider £15m fleet investment programme to renew trucks and plant equipment following a period of growth during the pandemic.
Supplied by AM Phillip Trucktech, the new S-Ways are powered by Cursor 13 engines with 530hp. The four new additions join two flagship Iveco S-Way 570 units with 570hp and 2,400Nm of torque. Enviro-clean has also recently put into operation an Iveco X-Way 8×4 tipper. AM Phillip Trucktech will fulfil the repair and maintenance service contract.
Mark Donaghy, director at Enviro-Clean, said, “We’ve been using Iveco trucks for many years, and the comfort is unmatched. We had drivers bickering over who would be driving these trucks before they were even delivered! The new Iveco engines also have the option to run on HVO, which we’re looking to implement in the future.”
Enviro-clean anticipates its updated Iveco fleet will clock up around 70,000 miles annually. The S-Ways are specified with active sleeper cabs with a fridge/freezer, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Drivers also benefit from the Iveco Driver Pal system, which allows infotainment features to be voice-controlled with an Amazon Web Services and Alexa-powered setup.
Mike Cutts, business line director, full range UK & ROI, said: “The Iveco S-Way 530 delivers powerful performance without compromising fuel consumption, which is perfect for traversing turbulent Scottish roads. We pride ourselves on our R&M packages, and we’re thankful that Enviro-Clean has put its trust in our services with these trucks.”
Enviro-Clean was founded in 1997 and now operates a fleet of more than 200 vehicles. The company offers waste management and industrial services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers predominantly across Scotland and Northern England.
